VersaTrans Solutions Incorporated provides software solutions to school transportation offices.

I returned to VersaTrans Solutions, Inc. after the demise of TAMSCO Systems. Provide field input and overall design recommendations for VersaTrans suite of school transportation software. Develop new products.  Responsible for a sales territory, with additional duties in large sales assistance.

Product Manager. TAMSCO Systems LLC.

1998 to 1998. Albuquerque, NM

TAMSCO Systems designed and marketed innovative software for schools, integrating mapping technology with Internet capabilities. Conflicts between owners and management led to the closing of TAMSCO Systems in May of 1998, prior to the rollout of the major piece of software I was working on.

Vice President, VersaTrans. Creighton Manning Incorporated

Creighton Manning Incorporated brings a traffic engineering background to the development of transportation related software for school districts. The VersaTrans software assists districts in routing school buses and in redistricting.

  • Moved the VersaTrans product from a small regional software product to the current leading selling product in this market.
  • Principle software designer for VersaTrans and a yet-to-be-released field trip program.
  • Created the support system and policies that are recognized as the best in the industry.
  • Developed and implemented the marketing plan.
  • Managed the sales force.
  • Produced personal sales for several years while market share was increasing.
  • Wrote manuals and on-line documentation.

Program directed by the State University of New York at Albany. Multiple responsibilities in a small office administering a $7.5 million teacher education program funded by the World Bank.
